About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Estimator to join our Multi-Class Sustainment (MCS) Program Management Office (PMO). Based in Henderson, WA, you will be responsible for developing, facilitating, and delivering Maintenance Availability Change Proposal (MACP) and Purchase order estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, facilitate, and deliver maintenance availability change proposals and implement principles of estimating for the MCS Program.
  • Govern the maintenance availability change proposal process from a Program perspective.
  • Generate comprehensive maintenance availability change proposal estimates and facilitate a coordinated approach to achieve stage gate review requirements.
  • Develop Analogous, Parametric, Bottom-up, and/or Three-point estimates to accurately forecast project costs, durations, and resource requirements.
  • Benchmark rates based on market research and monitor indexation for accurate cost calculations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide analysis on quantity and rate trends.
  • Develop estimating techniques, processes, and governance documents.

About You

  • Qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction/Project Management, Engineering, Maritime or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating within Maintenance, Construction, and/or Engineering Projects or Design & Construct contracts.
  • Competency in commercial acumen and interpretation of technical documentation.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent attention to detail, communication, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to train team members as needed.
  • Defence experience (desired).
  • Experience with estimating software, Primavera P6, and business analytics tools such as Power BI (desired).

Eligibility
