About the Opportunity

A permanent opportunity for a Production Coordinator (PC) to provide administrative and non-technical support to Planning and Production Team personnel. Based in Henderson and Garden Island as required. 

Responsible to ensure all work packs and Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) meet the required administrative quality requirements and comply with the Corporate Management System policies and procedures. Providing proactive support to the Production Trade teams in order to reduce administrative burden on technical roles, this includes tasks such as progressing work orders, communicating with stores personnel for material coordination and other administrative tasks.

 

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Work Package Planning Team Lead, the Production Coordinator (PC) provides administrative and non-technical support to Planning and Production Team personnel. Responsible for:

  • Work pack printing and readiness
  • Work pack OQE support
  • Work pack progressing
  • Work pack closeout (including SIMS entry)
  • Material staging and return
  • Supply & Test Equipment coordination

 

About you

You will be able to demonstrate your willingness to learn and build on your experience together with the ability to communicate and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, together with:

  • Proven experience in a team oriented, customer service environment.
  • Sound computing skills with working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Previous experience with coordination of files, work packs or drawings in a maintenance environment.
  • Proven ability for attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

 

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
