About the Opportunity

As a member of the PLM team, reporting to the Digital Product Manager (PLM), the Senior PLM DevOps role is a key member of a multi-skilled dynamic PLM Team responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of ASC’s selected PLM Platform Teamcenter. The Senior PLM DevOps role has the required knowledge and skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into effective and pleasing business solutions using out of the box tools and components

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed analysis and options on how specific business needs can be supported within the Teamcenter PLM technical platform 
  • Working with IT technical SMEs such as System Administrators, Database Administrators, Network Engineers and Cyber Security Specialists to triage and resolve PLM related issues 
  • Design, build and test Teamcenter PLM solutions including running Proof of Concept pilots  
  • Ongoing maintenance of the Teamcenter PLM application   
  • Ensuring solutions will meet performance, scalability, reliability, security and monitoring   
  • Ensuring solution designs are adequately documented  
  • The application of Agile and DevOps methods covering the full development lifecycle (project preparation, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support) to ensure solution quality

About you 

  • Tertiary qualifications in software engineering, computer systems engineering, computer science or information science  
  • Certification and/or significant experience working within Agile projects (E.g. SCRUM, SAFE)   
  • PLM Admin with experience in deployments and upgrades, PLM Deployment Center and Azure DevOps 
  • Java / J2EE and C / C++ programming languages – Advanced 
  • Eclipse framework IDE  
  • PLM BMIDE (Business Model Integrated Dev. Environment)  
  • PLM ITK (Integrated Toolkit) – Advanced 
  • PLM SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)  
  • PLM Workflow / Custom Handler development – Advanced 
  • Experience with scripting languages like Shell/Perl/python/TCL

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
