ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.

Our work is interesting and meaningful, contributing directly to Australia’s national security. We offer rewarding roles that provide the opportunity to grow your career, and the flexibility to balance life and work. A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.

About the Opportunity

In this pivotal role, you will leverage digital tools, data analytics, and modern supply chain technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and performance across ASC’s end‑to‑end supply chain. You’ll work as the key connector between Supply Chain Capability, MCS Programs, and the wider ASC business—supporting the delivery of ASC’s Supply Chain Strategy and Oversight roadmap.

This role suits a natural collaborator with a passion for problem-solving, process improvement, and translating business needs into practical digital solutions. Your project management experience will be essential as you lead cross-functional initiatives, manage competing priorities, and guide stakeholders toward digital maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Drive data accuracy and maturity across supply chain systems, including ERP and PLM platforms.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, lobbies, and reporting to support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Conduct process assessments, identify improvement opportunities, and support digital supply chain strategy development.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise inventory, procurement, distribution, and other key processes.
  • Lead requirements gathering and support design, testing, and implementation of new or enhanced business processes.
  • Provide training and support on digital supply chain tools and best practices.
  • Support risk identification, bottleneck resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

  • Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or similar role in a complex organisation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (IFS preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Jira, Microsoft Office, and digital requirements gathering.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and responsible data use.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for technical teams.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Creative problem solver who embraces innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Positive, can‑do attitude with a passion for high-quality outcomes.
