About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Occupational Hygienist to join our Work Health, Safety and Environment team based in Adelaide or Perth. Reporting to the Occupational Hygiene Lead, this role contributes to the design, development and implementation of ASC’s Occupational Hygiene Program within the WHSE Management System. The Occupational Hygienist works closely with WHSE colleagues and the broader workforce to support compliance with relevant legislation and standards, embed occupational hygiene practices into day-to-day operations, and drive continuous improvement. The role plays an important part in governance, stakeholder engagement and supporting change initiatives across the organisation.
Responsibilities
• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Hygiene Program within the WHSE Management System.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with WHSE legislation, regulations and applicable Australian and international occupational hygiene standards.
• Collect, analyse and report occupational hygiene data to support governance, performance monitoring and decision making.
• Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to support occupational hygiene initiatives and workforce engagement.
• Assist with governance activities, including audits, reviews, documentation and reporting related to occupational hygiene.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives to enhance occupational hygiene practices across ASC.
About You
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational hygiene, with experience working in construction, industrial or comparable environments.
• Sound understanding of WHSE legislation, standards and the application of occupational hygiene principles in practice.
• Experience supporting occupational hygiene programs or WHSE management systems within complex organisations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders and contribute positively within a team environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and support program delivery.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence using digital systems and reporting tools.

This role requires a current National Police Check. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining this clearance.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
