ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Administrator to join our team at ASC, working closely with the Head of Supply Chain SSN AUKUS. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the supply chain team, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain and procurement processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Australia's sovereign submarine capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supply chain records.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders.
  • Track deliveries and ensure timely procurement support.
  • Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to procurement policies.
  • Help mitigate risks by maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of supply chain process improvements.
  • Foster effective teamwork and open communication within the supply chain team.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Experience in supply chain administration, including data management and record keeping.
  • Basic understanding of procurement practices and contract management.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Eligibility and Requirements

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.  

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
