About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Nuclear and Capability (N&C) Business Unit, as we grow ASC capabilities to support both Collins Class and Nuclear Powered Submarine Programs.
As a Project Coordinator you will provide project management support activities required during all phases of the project lifecycle. This role involves managing the planning, execution, and closeout of project elements. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for project management, upskilling, and working in a complex environment.
Responsibilities
· Support development and coordination of project plans.
· Monitor and maintain project schedules, budgets, and project documents.
· Organise and support workshops, including taking notes and sharing actions.
· Prepare and collate reports on project progress for internal and external use.
· Support estimating process to secure funding for N&C Business Unit.
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
· Identify areas for improvement and support digital improvement projects.
About You
· Tertiary qualifications in a technical or project management discipline or equivalent experience.
· Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work with limited supervision and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
· Customer service-oriented and able to work as part of a team.
· Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
· Passion for upskilling and a desire to move into project management.
· Ability to manage challenging deadlines in a complex environment.
· 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar project role (desirable).
· Knowledge of scheduling earned value management, financial, stakeholder, and personnel management (desirable).
Eligibility
