About the Opportunity

Are you ready to grow your career in project management and make a real impact? We’re seeking a proactive and driven Project Coordinator to support the Assistant Project Manager in the delivery of UK international placements for the SSN AUKUS Program.

This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about stakeholder engagement and project delivery in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will be undertaking end-to-end coordination of international placements to the UK, ensuring alignment with program objectives, schedules and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in developing, planning and coordinating project strategies and plans.
  • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships, including SSN AUKUS departments and management.
  • Contribute to risk assessments, opportunity reviews and provide proactive risk mitigation.
  • Prepare reports, coordinate project reviews and maintain candidate trackers and project performance metrics.
  • Monitor project progress, analyse variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with planning documents, processes and procedures, briefing notes, minute taking, presentations, and other project correspondence and communication materials.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and support best practices in project management across teams.

About you 

  • Tertiary or vocational qualifications in project management desired.
  • Proven administration experience in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Autonomous, adaptable and goal orientated.
  • Skills and experience in stakeholder engagement and presentations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organised, being able to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
