About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of complex and high-value projects within Collins Class Delivery department. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while providing leadership and guidance to Project Coordinators and Administrators.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be accountable for delivering detailed project management and support activities across all phases of the project lifecycle. You may manage the planning, execution, and closeout of elements of a major project or oversee one or more minor projects. You will work closely with departments such as Engineering, Quality, Planning, Production, Supply Chain, PMO, and Finance to ensure alignment and readiness for execution.
Responsibilities
As a Projector Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Project Manager in planning, developing, and maintaining performance baselines, measuring progress, and implementing corrective actions.
Conducting project risk and opportunity reviews and managing mitigation strategies.
Coordinating cross-functional inputs and ensuring resource availability for successful project execution.
Preparing and collating reports for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews, including Safely on Time data, EAC inputs, and gate review presentations.
Acting as Control Account Manager (CAM) for financial management of project elements or entire projects.
Driving continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and contributing to process enhancements.
Ensuring compliance with WHS, EEO, and legal training requirements, with no overdue obligations.
Actively contributing to ASC’s Submarine Safety Culture and governance activities.

Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
