ASC is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Modern Digital Workplace (MDWP) team.

This is an opportunity to help shape how thousands of ASC employees interact with technology every day. Working across Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, workplace automation, digital workplace services and emerging technologies, you will play a key role in driving improvements that enhance productivity, user experience and business outcomes across ASC.

As a trusted partner to the Digital Product Manager and broader MDWP team, you'll work at the intersection of business engagement, service improvement, strategic planning and technology delivery. You will help translate business needs into outcomes whilst also supporting the day-to-day operating rhythm of a high-performing product team.

Location: Osborne SA or Henderson WA.

This is a fulltime, 24-month fixed term contract opportunity.

About the Role

This is more than a traditional business analysis role.

As a senior member of the MDWP team, you'll play an important role in shaping how initiatives are delivered, helping drive consistency across our operating processes and supporting the continued maturity of our products and services.

You will help drive effective ways of working, support prioritisation and workload coordination, improve operational processes, and contribute to the governance and planning practices that enable the team to deliver value consistently.

You'll contribute across the full lifecycle of initiatives, from discovery and business analysis through to solution design, delivery, adoption and continuous improvement. You'll also help ensure our team remains aligned, organised and focused on delivering value to the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities including discovery, requirements gathering, process analysis and business case development.
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to understand business needs and opportunities.
• Support planning, prioritisation and coordination activities across the MDWP portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to improve services, processes and ways of working.
• Contribute to the development of solution designs, High Level Designs (HLDs) and other governance artefacts.
• Work closely with architects, engineers and product specialists to ensure solutions align with business objectives and technology standards.
• Support the successful implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of digital workplace capabilities.
• Assist in the ongoing refinement of team practices, operational processes and support services.

About You

You are an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys working across both strategic and operational activities. You are equally comfortable facilitating executive workshops, refining delivery processes, analysing complex business challenges, and helping teams improve how they work.

You will bring:

• Strong business analysis experience within a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience working with modern digital workplace technologies, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience supporting Agile, hybrid or product-based delivery models.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
• An ability to bridge business and technical conversations.
• Experience contributing to governance, architecture, design or technology decision-making processes.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine passion for improving how teams and services operate.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a Baseline level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
