About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Government Relations, the Senior Government Relations Adviser is responsible for supporting delivery of ASC’s Government Relations Strategy in Western Australia. The role will provide advice to the broader Corporate Affairs team on emerging risks and opportunities relating to ASC’s current and future operations.
You will monitor issues and the sentiment of key decision makers, government departments, elected members, media, industry and community groups to advise ASC on a wide range of strategic and operational issues. Senior leaders and the Corporate Affairs team will be provided with high quality documents for engaging influential decision makers in government. You will be trusted to continually improve ASC’s processes and be responsive to changing stakeholder priorities. You will engage government, industry and public forums, and persuasively communicate ASC’s priorities.
This is a full-time opportunity based at our Henderson site in WA.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
