About the Opportunity

Join a landmark defence program shaping Australia’s future capability. As the Supply Chain Lead - Offer and Development, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering the supply chain strategy for the SSN-AUKUS submarine build. This is a unique opportunity to lead transformation initiatives, collaborate with international partners, and ensure scalable, compliant processes for one of the most complex programs in the nation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of the SSN-AUKUS supply chain offer, including process mapping, capability integration, and cost modelling.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to transition supply chain processes from current to future-state operations.
  • Drive collaboration across ASC, BAE Systems, government stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure alignment on process design and change initiatives.
  • Establish governance and assurance frameworks for the Supply Chain function within a new joint venture entity.
  • Ensure compliance with defence procurement regulations, export controls, and internal governance requirements.
  • Facilitate governance forums and working groups to support decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain transformation and process implementation.

About you 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience leading supply chain transformation or change programs in complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of defence procurement frameworks, including ASDEFCON.
  • Skilled in developing and presenting supply chain offers, with proficiency in systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience in multi-organisation partnerships.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality documentation and reports.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and undertake periodic international travel.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
