About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of WHSE (MCS & LOTE), the WHSE Lead plays a key role in delivering industry-leading WHSE frameworks, systems and operational support across the Life of Type Extension (LOTE) program. You will lead the execution of WHSE risk reduction activities, assurance programs and on-ground support initiatives that directly contribute to the safety performance of ASC’s operational environment.
While operationally focused, this role requires strong understanding of WHSE management system context to coach, mentor and guide the workforce in effective use of WHSE systems and processes. You will support continuous improvement efforts, drive WHSE consultation and communication activities, and help embed efficient and effective WHSE practices aligned with strategic outcomes.
Acting as an advisor, coach and facilitator, you will work closely with the broader WHSE function and help build WHSE coaching capability and capacity within the team. You will also contribute to a positive people culture that values continuous improvement and supports the implementation of WHSE processes consistent with the company’s Lean principles.
