About the Opportunity 

Reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, you will provide critical quantitative and qualitative analytics to support key business decisions relating to long term workforce forecasting. You will ensure governance, reporting against forecasts and supporting system management for workforce planning. 

This is a full-time opportunity based at our Osborne site in SA, soon to be located in Adelaide CBD.

Responsibilities 

  • Partner with Workforce Planning and Capability teams to deliver accurate workforce forecasts, capability insights and executive-ready presentations.
  • Translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Project support for a variety of P&C strategy or WFP activities including managing SharePoint, risk management support, governance and document management.
  • Integrate labour market intelligence and external data into workforce planning insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis using internal and external data sources.
  • Maintain workforce dashboards and reporting solutions primarily using Excel, though be able to work with our specialised analytics team for SQL, Power BI, or Fabric development.
  • Provide analytical support across short- and long-term workforce forecasting activities.
  • Deliver timely insights in response to ad hoc workforce forecast data requests.
  • Influence stakeholders through data-driven workforce recommendations and insights through PowerPoint presentation of data.
  • Continuously improve workforce reporting and analytics processes

Collaborate with our IT analytics team to determine automation and scalable analytics solutions to enhance workforce planning capabilities. Please note: Availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK & US time zones) may be required from time to time. Periodic domestic travel may also be required on an ad hoc basis. 

 About you  

  • At least 3 years of experience in data analytics and reporting. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop successful solutions. 
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to high complex concepts 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders. 
  • Experience in workforce planning.
  • Developing data analytics reports and extracting information from a variety of data sets
  • You are system savvy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and additional benefit if you have database management (Power BI/SQL/Tabular reporting). 
  • High level of integrity and resilience 
  • Previous Sharepoint experience would be a bonus
  • Operational experience in Defence, complex manufacturing, mining, or construction is highly regarded. 
  • Highly driven, motivated, and customer-oriented with an understanding of strategic context to deliver work. 
  • Strong business acumen, process mapping & project coordination skills

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and a Baseline Security Clearance to a NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances.
