ASC is Australia’s submarine company. About the Opportunity

We’re seeking Business Design Officers to join our Transformation Office. You’ll work on projects that improve HR systems, workforce planning, skills development, and organisational capability; helping ASC build the frameworks and processes needed to meet future demand. These are critical roles involved in driving enterprise-wide change across people, process, technology and information.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into actionable outcomes.
  • Conduct current and future state assessments, gap analyses, and support business case development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document and validate business requirements and processes.
  • Provide change impact analysis and implementation support.
  • Monitor and measure business outcomes and benefits.
  • Support agile and waterfall delivery methods.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery.

About you 

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Project Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in business analysis within complex environments.
  • Skilled in process improvement, HR or workforce planning, and data analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and process management tools.
  • Highly autonomous, collaborative, and solutions focused.
  • Agile certification and business analysis methodology certification (desirable).

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
