We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.

Our work is interesting and meaningful, contributing directly to Australia’s national security. We offer rewarding roles that provide the opportunity to grow your career, and the flexibility to balance life and work. A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.

About the Opportunity

Working within the People & Culture function and partnering closely with transformation and business leaders, these roles play a key part in shaping, delivering and embedding change outcomes that support ASC’s strategic priorities. Depending on level, you will contribute through hands‑on delivery, lead complex change programs, and/or provide strategic and people leadership within a program environment.

Responsibilities

Depending on your level of experience and seniority, responsibilities may include:

  • Designing, developing, and delivering change management strategies, plans and activities across business projects and transformation programs

  • Developing and delivering change communications, engagement activities, and training to support adoption
  • Partnering with senior leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to enable effective change leadership and sponsorship
  • Providing expert advice on change risks, resistance, and mitigation strategies to support program outcomes
  • Leading, coaching or supporting change practitioners, and contributing to the development of organisational change capability
  • Monitoring and reporting on change effectiveness, adoption and benefits realisation

About you

You are a collaborative and adaptable change practitioner who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments and is motivated by delivering meaningful outcomes. Depending on the level, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in organisational change management, supporting or leading change across people, process, and technology initiatives
  • Experience developing and delivering change plans, communications, stakeholder engagement, and training activities
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organisation
  • Sound planning, organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working within project, program, or transformation environments

For senior roles, proven experience leading complex, large‑scale change programs and coaching or managing change practitioners
