ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.

About the Opportunity

This role represents a rare opportunity to work on the pioneering SSN AUKUS Build Program, delivering an essential sovereign capability for Australia. Join us in a pivotal role as we establish the Australian Shipbuilder, a joint venture between ASC and BAE, which will eventually construct Australia’s SSN-AUKUS submarines. As the Information Management Officer, you will collaborate with the business to achieve company objectives in a compliant manner. About you

  • Eligibility for Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1) and full access to all Intellectual Property and Controlled Technology held by ASC is required
  • Demonstrated prior experience in managing information, records management, export control, security, project management, or a similar role involving risk/compliance obligations, ideally within a Defence industry organisation

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
