About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Verification and Validation (V&V) Manager, the V&V Engineer or Technical Officer will be responsible for the development, planning and conduct of all V&V aspects of their project allocated systems throughout the Design, Manufacturing, Integration, Installation, In Harbour and At Sea phases for the Mission System.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver V&V Plans, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM), Acceptance Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports.
• Provide V&V guidance and review V&V deliverables from within ASC and external subcontractors.
• Oversee the progressive verification of systems to ensure compliance with specifications and the early identification and resolution of issues.
• Work collaboratively across the project to ensure a consistent V&V approach and quality is maintained.

About you 

• Bachelor of Engineering in any engineering field or Diploma will be considered for Technical Officer placements.
• Experience with Systems Engineering frameworks and V&V processes.
• Self-starting, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Ability to prepare well-structured and concise V&V documentation.
• Ability to work unsupervised and to lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technical personnel.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
